Bilingual Recruitment Specialist
Why do you choose to work in recruitment?
I choose to work in recruitment for the prospect of building relationships with both clients and candidates, all while putting them in the best possible situations to succeed. Coming from a career in professional hockey, I utilize the skills and knowledge I’ve learned from the sports industry. The potential of helping others, in what can often be the most stressful of times is what sold me on this choice of career.
What are your areas of specialty within recruitment?
I have a background in professional hockey, so it goes without saying that one of my areas of specialty is the sports industry. Being French Canadian, bilingual recruiting is an area of specialty. I love to work with candidates and roles within customer service, sales, marketing and finance.
Worst job I’ve ever had?
For me, it was my first job mowing lawns. I worked for a landscaping company and mowing 15 lawns in the middle of the July heat just wasn’t for me. I grew up in hockey rinks my entire life and that job was a shock to my system.
Favourite activity outside of work?
My favourite activity is playing golf. One of my favourite things to do!
Favourite animal?
Dogs. Specifically, my puppy Sonny. He’s an 18-month-old Bernedoodle. He always finds a way to brighten up my day.
Favourite Band/genre?
Zach Bryan and country music.
Cilantro?
No chance.
